“There was a woman by the name of Annie Johnston Flint who wrote an incredible amount of hymns and songs.

Annie Johnston Flint suffered most of her life. She lost her parents when very young she became orphaned. She ended up with rheumatoid arthritis and spent years of her life racked in pain in a bed with pillows cushioning her body. She became cancerous and she was blind. Arthritic, orphaned, cancerous, blind, sores covering her body from head to toe. The last one of the last hymns she wrote with 8 pillows cushioning her body. This brilliant woman wrote these words.” (Ravi Zacharias)

He Giveth More Grace

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,

He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;

To added affliction He addeth His mercy;

To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,

When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,

When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,

Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,

Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
